AN ASSESSMENT OF HDL, LDL AND TC OF ACTIVE AND INACTIVE MIDDLE AGED FEMALE

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study was to compare the level of High Density Lipoprotein, Low Density Lipoprotein and Total Cholesterol of active and inactive middle aged female. Nineteen (19) Active and Nineteen (19) Inactive middle aged female (40-50 years) were randomly selected for the study. All the parameter i.e. High Density Lipoprotein, Low Density Lipoprotein and Total Cholesterol were measured by a reputed Pathologist. For statistical analysis and interpretation of data‘t’-test was conducted It was observed that there was significant difference in High Density Lipoprotein, Low Density Lipoprotein and Total Cholesterol. Result showed Active women have lower level of Low Density Lipoprotein and Total Cholesterol but higher level of High Density Lipoprotein.
