Abstract                                              

Foundation for any nation development is fully dependent on education system and quality of teachers. A variety of issues and problems in teachers education mentioned so regularly by educators in countries around the world that they can truly be termed world problem of teacher education .After the deep study and discussion with educationists found that enhancement in working of teacher institutions, knowledge of science technology, awareness of constitutional goal, emphasis of value education, healthy discussion on social issues, modification in teacher education. Teachers and there education is very significant aspects of any nation. It is a well known saying that teachers are the nation’s builder. The quality of teacher education programmed need to be up graded. The problems and issues regarding teacher has been a subject of discussion at all levels, form the government ministries, schools regulatory bodies and even teacher themselves. This research paper describes the teacher education quality in India by focusing on the emerging issues and problems.
